A129: Early 1930's Oscar Schmidt Stella.
Very nice example of the "pearloid" version of the 1930's sunburst Stellas.
The guitar is crackfree and original except a new bridge and pins. The bridge was made of 160 years old brazilian rosewood and has the same shape as the original Schmidt bridge, but with a compensated slot. Good intonation.
The guitar has a solid spruce top and solid birch back and sides. One piece poplar neck with maple fretboard. Fat V-shaped neck. Pearloid veneer on fretboard and headstock. and a glued on pearloid pickguard. Typical wood purfling around the top edge and the soundhole. Top edge bound in white celluloid. Decal strip through center of back. Fresh neck set and dressed frets.
Great sounding and playing Stella with a loud, balanced voice. Comes with a HSC.
