A132: Early 1930's  Oscar Schmidt  La Scala grand concert.

Very  rare, high class,  fancy LaScala guitar in grand concert size. This is the "guitar of the month " october 2016. You can find a detailed description here October 2016

The guitar has a body made of solid hawaiian koa wood with fancy inlaied pickguard. 5 piece mahagoni neck with "tree of life" fingerboard. Full binding on body an neck.

All over original except a new bone nut and saddle. The guitar has a fresh neck set. Original rosewood bridge. Original slot filled and the saddle was moved backwards for better intonation. Four top cracks were glued and cleated and are now solid. The top has some warping.  Quite normal for a koa ladder braced top with inlaied pickguard. But it is stable and soli. Refretted fingerboard. Sounds amazing and plays good. Comes with a new HSC.
